Define ‘new’

All of our items are marked ARC B STOCK (and dated) we also log all serial numbers of everything we sell. If its an active enclosure we log the box number, sub number and amplifier number. IE we can trace everything.

Over the last few weeks numerous people have emailed us to say they think they have been swindled after buying items that they thought to be new to find when they get them home the item has this writing on the bottom, yet they were assured the item was straight from VIBE and brand new (in some cases the item they were shown was new).

We can see the only way to stop people selling our stuff as new is to name and shame them. So lets start with people selling on Gumtree in London and move round the country a bit at a time. Usman (Sixth Avenue) currently selling some SLR’s / EDGE 12a’s none of which are new. If you are in doubt then get the serial number of any item from him, email us and we’ll confirm exactly where its come from.

Buy from us by all means but dont say its new when you come to sell it.

This probably breaks some rule on eBay but its a must read. A buyer has just sent us this email , its obviously meant for someone else but if you’re currently fed up due to the terrible weather this is sure to make you feel a great deal happier.
